After graduating from Indiana University, David served 11 years with Nuveen Investments in sales and research. Graduating as an equity analyst for the firm, he was responsible for the stock selection process for equity-defined portfolios as well as imperative research regarding economic and company-specific factors.

After Nuveen, he became Vice President of Research at Claymore Securities,

where he oversaw all propriety investment decisions for both bond and

equity offerings of all types.
